Our new cold frame lids for the raised beds were a total success!! The carrots, parsnips, beets and spinach we planted last fall survived the winter and will soon be ready for harvest. Seeing as this experiment worked, we are ready to expand our full planting season next winter.

Thank you to all who came out for the 6th Grade Arcade Night! We had close to 200 people play 18 games created by our amazing 6th grade classes. In Design, the 6th graders collaborated in groups to design, build, test and redesign an arcade game. Through this IBMYP project, the students were assessed on four Design criteria: inquiring & analyzing, developing ideas, creating the solution and evaluating. The students raised $942 to be divided between The Make-A-Wish Foundation, The ASPCA and One Tail at a Time and the snacks sales for the event raised $500 for the 7th and 8th grade Civil Rights Trip. The event was a huge success!
