After more than a dozen years of running fearlessly fun innovation camps for kids across the Bay Area and Los Angeles, we’re thrilled to announce some exciting news: Galileo is blowing into the Windy City in 2016 (and every summer after that) and we’re excited to partner with Galileo to be one of their first schools to host their camps: Camp Galileo & Galileo Summer Quest will run July 11 – August 19, 2016.
Designed to inspire budding innovators, our award-winning camps liberate pre-K – 5th graders to explore and create without fear of mistakes. The experience is profound—and it’s a blast. Weekly themes combine art, science and outdoor activities into whimsical narratives that keep kids giggling and engaged. Every week, a new adventure awaits.
5th – 8th Graders:
At Galileo Summer Quest, 5th – 8th graders choose a major, then spend an entire week realizing their personal vision. Surrounded by exceptional instructors, professional tools and materials and eager collaborators, campers get to pick a passion and go deep exploring it. Majors include Chefology, Go-Kart Builders, Mod Design with Minecraft®, Fashion Design, and Electric Painting Studio this summer.
Both programs run one week sessions, Monday – Friday from 9am – 3pm, with a part day option of 9am-1pm for Pre-K. Extended care is available from 8 am – 6 pm and an optional healthy lunch program. Mark your calendars, registration launches Thursday, January 7. Sign up by February 29 and save $25 per week. Financial assistance is also available.
