Please stop by the Mayer Farm Stand at 3:30 PM on Thursday, June 1 and Friday, June 2. Join us on the blacktop, rain or shine, as Mayer honey and the following plants are available for purchase:
Arugula, habanero peppers, Thai red peppers, shishito peppers, ground cherries, Chicago pickling cucumber, Blush tomatoes, Martino’s Roma tomatoes, Chocolate Pear tomatoes, Black Icicle tomatoes, Principe Borghese Cherry tomatoes, Sun Black tomatoes.
100% of sales sustain The Garden Project’s programs which include the gardens, chickens and honey bees.
All five 4th/5th grade classes have been spending time in our new design lab starting these plants and we look forward to seeing you after school!
Cash is king….but we can also take credit cards.
And as an added bonus at the Friday Farm Stand, 7th grade students Ailish Sheehy and Olivia Olson will be handing out milkweed for you to plant. As their Community Service Project this year they decided to grow and hand out milkweed to help our pollinators. Make sure you stop by their table and ask them why milkweed is important. And then plant some in your garden!
